Finding My Way Back to a Healthy Lifestyle in College Coming into college, I told myself I wanted to start working out more. At first, it felt like a simple goal. I thought I would naturally fall back into a routine once I got settled. But as the semester went on, I realized that staying active in college looks very different from what it did before. Growing up, I was almost always doing a sport. Practices, workouts, and games were part of my daily routine, so staying active never felt like something I had to plan or force myself to do. Exercise was just built into my life. I did not think about motivation because there was always a team depending on me and a schedule already set.
